Global Executive Learning Network
The Global Executive Learning Network (GELnet) is committed to assisting companies and organizations in defining global strategies, exploring new business opportuntities and developing leaders faster than the rate of change.
With over twenty years of extensive worldwide experience, GELnet has been involved with clients from many different industries and countries. The network includes hundreds of subject matter experts and practitioners in all major fields and areas of business.
GELnet helps organizations by designing and implementing programs and on-the-job learning interventions for individuals and teams, from talented middle managers to senior leaders and their boards.
Dr. Yury Boshyk
GELnet’s Chairman and co-founder is Dr. Yury Boshyk.
He is the Chairman of the Global Executive Learning network, an international network of senior professionals who share GELnet’s approach and philosophy to development and strategic learning.
Business Driven Action Learning
GELnet is the global leader in Action Learning with its international practice, research and publications in the field. GELnet also introduced and developed the term Business Driven Action Learning to emphasize its approach to Action Learning. It focuses on achieving practical and transformational results for the organization and the individual executive by integrating business and organizational objectives with personal leadership and team development---particularly at senior levels and with emerging talent--faster than the rate of change.
The Annual Global Forum
The Global Forum on Executive Development and Business Driven Action Learning is a community of practice. Since 1996, GELnet has organized 17 annual meetings of practitioners, subject-matter experts and executives from major companies and public institutions.
Attendance at The Gobal Forum is by-invitation-only, and the Global Forum is not-for-profit.
No more than 100 participants, and no media to ensure sharing and open discussion.
Global Forum venues change from year-to-year to allow for more global learning. This year (2012) the Global Forum took place in Yokohama, Japan.
The 18th Global Forum will take place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from 20-23 May, 2013.
